With the Contact Forums, the Academy supports high-quality scientific meetings in the fields of the natural sciences, humanities, technical sciences and the arts.
Contact Forums are scientific meetings taking place in the Palace of the Academies with the aim of bringing together specialists from one or more scientific disciplines from at home and abroad, in order to stimulate scientific research on a current topic.
Any scientist associated with a Flemish institution of higher education (universities and colleges) or research institutes(such as IMEC, ITG, VIB, VITO, VLIZ, etc.) can submit an application. Upon approval, the organizers have access to free academic facilities with matching logistical and administrative support for up to two days.
There are two deadlines for applications: April 1 and October 1. Documents are available for download below (Dutch).
